Open Position: RN - Pre Op

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2290.72

Opportunity:

RN - Pre-Op

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Patient ratio of 1:3
* On-call is required with a 30-minute response time; 2 on-call shifts of 10 hours required every 8 weeks
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Perform pre-op preparation for surgery, endo, cath lab, EP, and CT patients as well as outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions
* Manage Phase 2 recoveries for urology, GYN, and other same-day surgery patients
* Work with equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, and bladder scanner
* EMR system: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
* Unit consists of 9 pre-op beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds
* Strong patient experience focus and effective communication with staff and providers required
* Some pre-op experience or ability to assist pre-op staff preferred
