Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2181.04

Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work evening to overnight shifts from 4:30 PM to 5:00 AM
* Float between multiple PACU units including Main/Surgical Robotics and Orthopedic Surgery Center
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with same day surgery patients up to 3 at a time, staffed per ASPAN standards
* Night shift consists of 2 RNs on duty
* Work with GE Monitors and Meditech EMR system
* Pre-op and recover patients who receive anesthesia
* Handle high neuro volume including stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVRs, and critical care overflow
* Perform procedures across a range of surgical specialties including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotic cases
* Critical care experience and/or PACU experience required
* Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Stroke care experience preferred
* Flexible and outgoing personality preferred

Facility:

This facility operates across multiple PACU units totaling 59 bays, encompassing both Pre-Op and PACU combined across three locations including a Main unit, Surgical Robotics unit, and Orthopedic Surgery Center. The unit is staffed by approximately 70 team members including RNs and patient care technicians, and maintains a strong employee satisfaction rating of 91%. The facility upholds ASPAN staffing standards and is equipped with modern technology to support a wide range of surgical specialties.
