RN - L&D Nights
Job Details:
* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit need
* Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* Travel experience required
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for Labor & Delivery; antepartum or postpartum up to 4:1
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Float required to other units within the same service line; may also be required to float to sister facility
* Self-scheduling unit
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Additional preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, C-EFM
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Patient age groups served: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, and Adults
* Unit consists of 15 beds and 15 rooms with a daily census of approximately 10 patients
* Key skills required include Labor & Delivery, high-risk antepartum and postpartum care, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, fetal heart monitoring (internal and external), neonatal resuscitation, C-section circulation and recovery, and triage of obstetrical patients
* Special procedures include inductions, cesarean sections, cerclage, and D&C
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, radiology, and social services
* No blocked scheduling requests permitted
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026; November 22?December 2, 2026; December 20?January 3, 2027
