Backfill for Angela N Hunter

Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotating shifts available (7:00 AM?7:00 PM, 9:00 AM?9:00 PM, or 11:00 AM?11:00 PM) or straight evening shifts
* Weekend call scheduled in 8-hour blocks (7:00 AM?3:00 PM, 3:00 PM?11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM?7:00 AM)
* Up to 4 weeknight calls and 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
* Call required on weeknights and weekends
* No float required
* 1:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
* Level 1 Trauma Center with primarily adult and geriatric patient population
* 22 operating rooms
* Specialties include orthopedics (joint, oncology, trauma, hand/foot, sports medicine), general surgery (surgical oncology, acute care, hepatobiliary, endocrine), urology, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pulmonary
* EPIC charting system experience required
* General OR and Trauma experience required
* Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and CAC
* Special equipment includes DaVinci robotic surgical systems, laparoscopic equipment, Stryker, Storz integration, variety of orthopedic implants and specialty beds, O-arm, C-arm, and Censitrac instrument scanning
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Michigan nursing license must be in-hand at time of submission (compact license not accepted)
* 2 supervisory/manager references required (charge RN references not accepted)
* No requested time off during the first week of the contract
* Orientation consists of up to 72 hours completed onsite

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center equipped with state-of-the-art surgical technology and a comprehensive range of specialty services. The operating environment includes advanced robotic surgical systems, specialized orthopedic equipment, and a fully integrated surgical suite supporting a wide variety of complex procedures. The facility provides interdisciplinary support services and maintains a high standard of patient care across adult and geriatric populations.
