Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Every other weekend is required and non-negotiable
* No on-call responsibilities
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Required experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Telemetry on-unit monitoring
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking is provided at no cost
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams, with peak activity in August and September
* Unit serves adult and geriatric patient populations with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* 24/7 house supervisor coverage available
* Leadership available by phone during off-shift hours

Facility:

This acute care hospital operates with 286 total staffed beds and provides comprehensive inpatient medical services to the surrounding community. The medical-surgical telemetry unit is a newer unit currently built out with 18 active beds and 30 total rooms, equipped with bedside monitors capable of telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry monitoring. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers a robust interdisciplinary support structure to ensure high-quality patient care.
