Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Float required to other like units or nearby hospitals as needed
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include orthopedics and bariatrics on a telemetry unit
* Night shift patient ratio of 6:1; day shift patient ratio of 4-5:1
* Unit consists of 25 beds with a daily census of 20
* Medication system: Pyxis
* Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in field required; first-time travelers must have 3 years of experience within the specialty
* Patient ratio experience of 5-6 required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* South Carolina RN license required
* Required skills include blood product administration, central line care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions and PPE, telemetry, EKG, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, and peripheral line care and management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
