Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM per week
* 36-40 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment length
* Weekend shifts required with rotating schedule
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience required
* Experience with high-risk obstetrical bedside training required
* Must be proficient in circulating in C-section procedures in the labor and delivery area
* Must be experienced in recovering high acuity patients
* Experience with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery care required
* Patient ratio of 2:1 and 3:1 including OBED triage
* Work with GE fetal monitors and document in Meditech and CPN systems
* Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required
* Ability to float to antepartum unit within Women's unit as needed
* Scrubs required; no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails permitted
* Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Facility:

This facility is a Women's Hospital housing a high-risk obstetrical unit located on the 9th floor of Building D. The 24-bed Labor and Delivery unit specializes in high-risk obstetrical care and offers a comprehensive range of women's health services. The facility is equipped with modern GE fetal monitoring technology and utilizes Meditech and CPN documentation systems to support its clinical staff in delivering quality patient care.
