Opportunity:

RN - L&D

Job Details:

* 7:00 AM shift on Labor & Delivery unit
* 13-week assignment
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 4 weekend shifts per month required
* No on-call requirements
* Charge nurse capability required for night shifts
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* Circulate C-sections performed on unit
* 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Meditech documentation system experience preferred
* RNC certification preferred
* Facility will provide scrubs
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Facility:

This facility operates a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit staffed with unit technicians and unit secretaries to support clinical staff. The unit utilizes the Meditech documentation system and maintains a structured floating policy as needed. The facility provides a collaborative environment with dedicated support staff on each shift to ensure quality patient care.
