Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Emergency Room unit with 18 beds
* Patient ratios vary depending on acuity, typically 4:1
* 2 RNs on night shift
* Work with equipment including LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE
* EMR system: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care ED RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card
* Experience working in a large hospital setting preferred
* Perform typical procedures including IV, EKG, Foleys, splints, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and assessments
* Teamwork-oriented environment with a seasoned team and positive culture

Facility:

This facility is a hospital-based emergency department converted from a freestanding ED, offering increased resources and comprehensive on-site services. The department benefits from expanded support including respiratory therapy, house supervision, med/surg/ICU floor staff, a full laboratory with dedicated lab staff, and complete radiology services including CT, MRI, Echo, X-ray, and ultrasound. The unit fosters a collaborative and positive work environment with an experienced team.
