Opportunity:

RN - EMERGENCY ROOM

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 for behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Use MEDITECH electronic medical records system; prior experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Trauma experience preferred
* Holding inpatient experience preferred
* CPI certification preferred
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Ideal candidate is a multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This emergency services facility operates a robust department featuring 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms. The unit is staffed with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs across both day and night shifts. The facility maintains an active unit-based council and social committee, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment with modern equipment and technology.
