Open Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

* Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
* 1:1 patient ratio in a 2-bed unit
* Scrub or circulate procedures including open heart procedures, CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures
* Perform room set up, room turn over, and obtain disposables and instrument sets as needed
* Operate specialized equipment including Belmont, ESU, and positioning equipment
* Perform advanced skills including sterile technique, central line set up, arterial line set up, Belmont set up and operation, and cell saver set up
* Document using Meditech Expanse system
* Float to main operating rooms as needed per float policy
* Maintain direct contact with patients requiring excellent communication skills, provider relations, and a team approach to problem solving
* Scrubs provided
* Required certifications: BLS
* CNOR certification preferred
* Must demonstrate forward thinking, proactive planning, and strong teamwork skills

The unit is supported by board runners, charge nurses, service line coordinators, and ancillary assistance for room turnovers, ensuring a strong team environment. The facility utilizes modern documentation and equipment systems to support high-quality patient care across a range of complex cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
