Registered Dietitian

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment
* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with minor flexibility in work hours
* No weekends and no on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks
* Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred; both adult and pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred
* Enteral nutrition (EN) and parenteral nutrition (PN) knowledge and expertise preferred
* Required certification: RD/RDN
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available
* Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
* All requested time off must be included at time of submission
* Skills include: nutrition assessments/reassessments, nutrition focused physical exam (NFPE), enteral nutrition (tube feedings), total parenteral nutrition (TPN), calorie counts, therapeutic diet orders, fluid/electrolyte requirements, refeeding syndrome, protein calorie malnutrition, short gut syndrome, malabsorption syndromes, eating disorders, failure to thrive, and oral rehydration solutions for high ostomy outputs
* Patient age groups served: neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
