Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3622.40

Job Details:

* Work four 10-hour shifts per week totaling 40 hours
* Shifts may include weekdays and weekends depending on weekly schedule
* Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
* On-call requirement is typically 3 to 4 nights per week, generally on nights following shifts worked
* On-call responsibilities are divided between two pharmacists
* Must be available on call after pharmacy hours
* Attend 10:00 AM care plan meetings for inpatient cases
* Support a small outpatient infusion clinic averaging 1 antibiotic infusion per day
* Handle inpatient and ER pharmacy orders averaging 1,200 per month
* ER is on auto verify for most medications
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
* Required credentials: NM Board of Pharmacy License and Registered Pharmacist with Bachelor's degree
* New Mexico pharmacy license required (profiles may be submitted pending NM license)

This facility is a community hospital offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency care, pharmacy services, and an outpatient infusion clinic. The pharmacy team plays an integral role in patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration, including participation in daily care plan meetings and comprehensive medication management across inpatient and emergency settings.
