Job Details:

* Inpatient pharmacist position working day shifts with variable shift times
* Block scheduling type with 8 weekend shifts (4 weekends) per contract
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Serve patient population spanning all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 100 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
* Required skills: anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, inpatient/acute care, IV push medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, Pyxis, renal dosing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, and Warfarin dosing
* Required certifications in hand at time of submission: BLS, ACLS, PharmD, RPh, and Kansas State license

Facility:

This inpatient facility operates with a daily census of approximately 100 patients and provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and maintains a collaborative care environment with robust departmental support.
