Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* Weekday schedule working 5x8-hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
* All weekends required throughout the contract
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* On-call required
* Floating between like units required
* Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Fluoroscopy, California License
* Scrub color requirement: Black
* Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include: abdomen imaging, chest routine, portable imaging, C-arm procedures, PACS, contrast media preparation and administration, upper GI series, barium procedures, various extremity imaging, spinal imaging, and starting peripheral IVs
* Must be proficient with Fuji Synapse and Toshiba equipment
* May be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This is an acute care hospital with 150 total staffed beds offering comprehensive imaging and radiology services. The facility operates with 3 radiology rooms and supports a wide range of patient populations from neonates to geriatrics. The facility provides services across multiple units including the emergency department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and operating room, and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
