Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Work day shifts on a 4 days, 10-hour shift schedule or an 8, 5-hour rotating schedule to include weekends from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* 26-week assignment
* Work in an inpatient acute care facility on the Rehab Services unit located on the 5th floor
* Patient ratio of 8-10 patients daily
* Weekend rotation required, 2-3 weekends per month including Saturdays and Sundays
* No on-call requirements
* Acute care experience required
* OT Certification required for this assignment
* EMR system used is EPIC
* Independent work style preferred
* Dress code: light green scrubs
* Alaska state fingerprint and state background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting

Facility:

This facility is a 175-bed inpatient acute care hospital with a robust Rehab Services department staffed by approximately 60 therapy providers including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs. The facility operates with a strong focus on comprehensive rehabilitation services and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system to support high-quality patient care.
