Cardiac Sonographer - Echo and Vascular

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Variable days as needed, primarily Monday, Thursday, and Friday
* On-call required with rotational average of 2 times per week and rotational weekend call
* Perform M-Mode with calculations, 2-D procedures with all necessary views and calculations, and Doppler echo with analysis on adult, pediatric, and neonate patients
* Perform all peripheral vascular procedures including arterial Doppler, venous Doppler, segmental pressures, ankle-arm index, and carotid ultrasound
* Perform tilt table exams, treadmills, 24-hour holters, and pharmacological studies
* Demonstrate ability to obtain and interpret information based on patient age-specific needs including pediatric echo and geriatric Doppler exams
* Precept new staff members and mentor other staff as needed
* Stay current with the latest advances in cardiovascular techniques and equipment
* Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience preferred
* Adult and pediatric echo and vascular ultrasound capability required
* Required certifications: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), Pediatric Echocardiography (PE), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS, AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
* Preferred certifications: Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
* Echo and Vascular certifications required
