Opportunity:

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Occasional weekend coverage required
* No on-call requirements
* Daily caseload of 6.5 out of 8 hours of contact time with patients (individual treatment times range from 30 to 60 minutes)
* Primary position in Inpatient Rehab Program with potential to float to acute care based on census fluctuations
* Work on a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit with 28 patient beds on the 9th floor
* 2 to 3 years of experience with Inpatient Rehab Facility required
* Current South Carolina state licensure required
* Required certifications: BLS, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
* Required skills: NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Scrub color: Misty Grey (light grey/silver)
* Charting system: Epic
* No parking cost
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block schedule accommodation may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed

Facility:

This facility is a hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation program located on the 9th floor of a 396-bed hospital. The inpatient rehabilitation unit consists of 28 patient beds and provides comprehensive rehabilitative care to patients. The facility supports interdisciplinary care and utilizes Epic for charting, maintaining a high standard of patient care across both the inpatient rehab program and acute care settings.
