Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* 4x10 block scheduling available for the right candidate but must work Saturdays
* See approximately 20 patients per day across 2 rooms
* Patients served include adults and geriatric populations
* Interdisciplinary support through Radiology department
* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with relevant experience
* California state license required; pending license not accepted
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS
* Required skills include: 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Fine Needle Aspiration, Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX, Needle Localizations, Outpatient, Radiation Safety, Screening Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsy, and Universal Precautions/Core Measures
* Scrub color to be confirmed with unit manager
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront during submittal
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
