Opportunity:
RT(R) (Cath Lab Tech/CVT)
Job Details:
* Shift times are either 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM depending on call schedule
* Rotating day off each week
* Weekend rotation consists of call only
* Weekday on-call coverage required once per week, end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning (Monday through Thursday)
* Weekend on-call coverage every 6th weekend, end of shift Friday until Monday at 7:00 AM
* 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
* 3-person call team consisting of 2 techs and 1 RN
* 1 holiday per contract required, call only
* Perform approximately 8 cases per day across 2 Cath Labs
* Cath Lab case types include diagnostic/interventional, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders
* EP case types include Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
* Must be able to scrub and operate table simultaneously
* Monitoring experience preferred
* Possibility of floating to a nearby Cath Lab location approximately 15 minutes away, maximum once per week with advance notice
* Must assist with transporting own patients who are on tele monitor
* EMR system: EPIC
* IV pumps: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* PACS system: Picom
* Hemodynamic system: Merge (experience preferred)
* C-arm equipment: GE Alea (experience not required)
* Scrubs provided including lead apparel (extended sizing available for scrubs but not for lead)
* Free garage parking available
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Required licensure: ARRT or RCIS License and Washington State License
* Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required for experienced travelers; minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required for first-time travelers
* Must have a positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
Facility:
This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, offering a comprehensive range of cardiac and interventional services. The facility operates two Cath Labs and provides around-the-clock support including Respiratory Therapy, Hospitalist and Intensivist coverage, a Rapid Response Team, and a dedicated Code Team. Cardiologist support is available on call at all times with daytime presence, ensuring a well-supported clinical environment for both staff and patients.
