Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

* 5x8 hour day shifts
* Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Charting system experience required; Epic system used
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 33 patients
* Required certifications: BLS, Texas PT license (pending license accepted)
* Required skills include but are not limited to: orthopedics, neurology, gait training, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and outpatient clinic experience
* Perform assessments, evaluations, and reassessments
* Develop and implement plans of care including short-term and long-term goals
* Provide patient and family education including home exercise programs
* Experience with a wide range of diagnoses including post-op rehabilitation, spinal conditions, traumatic brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal conditions
* Proficiency with therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, e-stim, TENS, traction, and moist heat
* Two pre-approved time off requests allowed

This outpatient facility provides comprehensive physical therapy services to a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a daily census of 33 patients. The organization supports a wide range of therapy services including orthopedic, neurological, and post-operative rehabilitation in a collaborative outpatient clinical environment.
