Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* 8-week assignment length
* Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period
* No on-call responsibilities required
* May float to Pacific (women's/children's) campus approximately 2 miles away if STAT exams are needed
* Perform ultrasound exams across a wide range of areas including abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, vascular, and emergency department studies
* Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Any (reddish-orange not permitted)
* Parking costs covered by facility
* Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS
* Preferred certifications: ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB/GYN, ARRT S
* Community hospital and Level I Trauma experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 40-hour orientation included
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 571 staffed beds across two campuses, offering a comprehensive range of services including outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency, and inpatient care. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging services across multiple patient populations. The organization maintains high standards for clinical staff and provides a well-equipped environment to support diverse ultrasound and imaging needs.
