Open Position: Dietitian - Registered Dietician

Opportunity:

Clinical Dietitian

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
* Floating required as needed throughout the Kern County Network
* EPIC experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent required
* Master's Degree required if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24
* Dietetic internship or equivalent required
* Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required within 6 months of completion of residency program
* Current BLS certification required
* Minimum of two years recent experience in field preferred
* Perform nutritional assessments and reassessments to identify patients at nutritional risk
* Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care including meal patterns, monitoring nutritional intake, and initiating appropriate interventions
* Provide medical nutrition therapy administration in a safe and accurate manner, including monitoring and documentation
* Provide nutritional education to patients, family members, and healthcare team personnel
* Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members regarding patient nutritional care
* Document all interventions in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards
* Orient and instruct new professional and ancillary personnel on clinical activities and job duties
