Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2443.72

Opportunity:

ICU RN

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts or straight nights available
* Weekend coverage required
* 12-hour orientation upon start
* Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* 22-bed ICU unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
* Must be willing to float within the hospital
* Must be willing to float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
* Must be available to work every other holiday
* Active PA or Compact license required
* Required skills include but are not limited to: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/acute stroke management, emergency medications, high flow nasal cannula, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases

This facility is a community hospital offering a comprehensive range of intensive care services for adult and geriatric patients. The ICU is a 22-bed unit supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial staff.
