Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, agency staff float first
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Must have 2 years of ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Preferred charting experience: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This facility is a community-based stepdown unit with 12 staffed beds, providing specialized intermediate care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of complex patient needs and procedures, including cardiac telemetry, neurological monitoring, and respiratory management. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains consistent staffing ratios to support high-quality patient care.
