Open Position: RN - CVICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2810.44

Opportunity:

CVICU / Registered Nurse

Job Details:

* Patient ratio of 1:1-2; ratios may vary if floated
* Floating required to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all IMC units
* Every other weekend and holiday shifts required, as applicable
* All schedule accommodations and time off requests must be submitted and approved before offer
* Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays unless otherwise specified
* Care for adults and geriatric patient populations
* Patient mix includes fresh hearts, ventilated patients, chest tubes and lumbar drains, and chronic and acute renal failure
* Required experience with Post Op Open Heart Recovery, Swan, FloTrac, Temp Pacers, A-lines, and Chest Tubes
* Must have experience with devices such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT using Prismax OR experience with fresh heart cases
* CVICU experience with fresh open hearts such as CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR required
* May consider SICU experience with initial training in a CVICU
* 2 years of current CVICU experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Preferred experience with Epic charting system
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Stroke CEUs
* Active NJ or Compact nursing license required
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
