Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts with various days of the week
* 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule required
* On-call required per unit needs
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Float required within Women and Infant Unit
* May be required to float within metro region per facility needs
* 19-room Labor and Delivery unit
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Navy
* Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
* Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or Compact RN license required
* Self-scheduling
* 10 RTO days maximum approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following time periods: September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026; November 22 December 2, 2026; December 20 January 3, 2027
* Skills required include but are not limited to: vaginal delivery, cesarean section, epidural anesthesia, magnesium sulfate therapy, external and internal fetal monitoring, postpartum hemorrhage management, Pitocin administration, labor and delivery triage, and wound assessment/care

Facility:

This facility is a large healthcare system with a dedicated Women and Infants unit featuring a 19-room Labor and Delivery department. The unit provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and maintains a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure high-quality patient care.
