Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Tuesday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with minimal call
* Weekend requirement per contract
* Holiday requirement on a rotation basis
* Work across 4 GE CT scanners: 2 in inpatient, 1 in outpatient, and 1 in the emergency department
* Outpatient location is connected to the facility
* No floating or coverage of other areas required
* Perform CT scans for inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases
* Experience working with trauma patients required (Level II facility)
* Outpatient averages 12-14 scans per day; ED machine averages approximately 40 scans across all shifts
* Starting IVs preferred but not required
* Use of Epic and McKesson EMR/PACS systems
* Radiologist on-site during the day and on-call after hours
* Radiation badge required (responsibility of traveler's employer; facility will not provide)
* Scrubs provided by facility
* 1-week department-specific orientation provided
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) required; ARRT-CT preferred

This acute care facility is a Level II trauma center equipped with a comprehensive radiology department featuring four GE CT scanners serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department needs. The department utilizes Epic and McKesson systems and maintains a strong support structure, ensuring that a radiology supervisor or lead technologist is available as a resource during standard shifts.
