Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Work in a 13-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 3 additional triage beds
* Follow AWHONN guidelines with 1:1 patient ratios for labor and recovery
* Up to 2 Cytotec or Cervidil patients may be assigned
* Day shift staffing includes 9 RNs, 2 OB techs, and 1 unit clerk
* Rotating weekend schedule required with no on-call responsibilities
* Float to Mother Baby and Women's Surgery units as needed
* Perform vaginal deliveries and assist with cesarean sections
* Experience with OR circulation for C/S preferred
* Experience catching newborns preferred
* Antepartum experience preferred
* Labor and Delivery experience required - candidates without this experience will not be considered
* Utilize fetal monitoring and OR equipment
* Document using CPN/GE EMR system
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Must demonstrate a culture of caring and compassion
