Opportunity:

Lead Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* 5x8 day shift schedule
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Lead experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Performs 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
* Performs stereotactic biopsy and Hologic Affirm BX procedures
* Conducts digital quality assurance procedures and radiation safety protocols
* Experienced with Hologic 3D equipment
* Performs breast ultrasound and bone density DEXA scans
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Approximately 60 patient visits per day across 2 rooms
* Applies isolation precautions/PPE and universal precautions/core measures
* Inpatient and outpatient experience required
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS
* Washington DOH Radiological Technologist License required

The mammography department is supported by interdisciplinary teams including interpretation services, radiology, and rapid response teams. The facility serves a high patient volume and is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional mammography procedures.
