Job Details:

* Must hold a valid California CNA license
* Work in conjunction with nursing staff, residents, families, and other facility departments to provide individualized resident care
* Shifts include some weekends and holidays
* May be required to float to other units as necessary
* Receive and give reports on resident conditions and ensure understanding of care to be provided
* Make rounds on each resident and assess new residents or any resident who is ill, has fallen, or sustained an injury
* Document assessments per facility policy
* Notify nurses of any changes in resident conditions or current needs
* Assist with direct patient care and ensure call lights are answered promptly
* Promote positive working relationships with other departments, co-workers, residents, families, and physicians
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as a team player required
