Opportunity:

Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic Technologist

Job Details:

* Variable shift times: 7:00 AM?5:30 PM, 8:00 AM?6:30 PM, or 9:00 AM?7:30 PM
* On-call responsibilities include after hours coverage, every other weekend, and 2 weeknights per week
* Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations
* Perform active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using complex and sophisticated equipment
* Operate equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians
* Position and instruct patients for examinations and perform specialized studies
* Assist physicians with specialized cardiovascular procedures including angiocardiograms during cardiac catheterization
* Provide clinical care using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability
* Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills
* Provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff
* Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
* Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred
* Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred; Bachelor's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Fluoroscopy (FLUORO), Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS), and Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
* Radiologic Tech (RT) license in state of practice required
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred
