Opportunity:

Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend shifts required
* No floating between units
* Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms, including 3D mammography
* Perform breast biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
* Operate Hologic equipment including Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX systems; familiarity with Hologic equipment required
* Utilize Trident special equipment as needed
* Biopsy experience preferred but not required
* Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
* Perform digital quality assurance procedures and adhere to radiation safety protocols
* Follow universal precautions and isolation precautions/PPE guidelines
* Charting via Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: any color permitted
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, Mammography-ARRT, Oregon license
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

This short-term acute care facility operates with 418 staffed beds and 450 total beds across 5 mammography rooms. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology, and is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support a full range of mammography and breast care services. The organization maintains high standards of patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
