Job Details:
* 13-week contract assignment
* 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* On-call required, including weekends and holidays
* Hospital provided scrubs/dress code
* Assist in advanced procedures such as pulmonary thrombectomy, AAA, TEVAR, and FEVAR
* Assist with complex procedures including multiple wire exchanges and use of long wires and OTW balloons
* Operate specialty devices such as laser, penumbra, Inari, and shockwave equipment
* Circulate, monitor, and scrub all Interventional Vascular procedures
* Troubleshoot imaging equipment in collaboration with biomedical engineers
* Participate in procedural charging and supply management
* Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
* Communicate and coordinate with physicians on high-risk procedure plans of action
* Cross-train as needed to support departmental needs
* Operate x-ray system including panning table and manage varying imaging angles
* Manage access sites including proper sheath removal, hematoma assessment, and management
* Apply radiation safety concepts and knowledge of vascular anatomy
* Precept new staff and students as needed
* Required certifications: ARRT-R (with VI or CV credential) or RCIS; BLS
* Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Vascular Specialist, Interventional Radiology Technologist, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist required
* 3-5 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic or cardiovascular technology required
