Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery RN

Job Details:

* 3x12 hour day shifts
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Unit accepts first-time travelers
* Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Experience with Labor & Delivery and High Risk Antepartum required
* Triage of obstetrical patients required
* Experience with IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration required
* Ability to maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) required
* Experience with anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy required
* Must be able to assist with high risk deliveries
* Must be able to circulate for and recover C-sections
* Sterile vaginal exam experience required
* Isolation precautions and PPE compliance required
* Charting system experience required (any system accepted)
* Facility delivers 200-300 births per month
* Teaching hospital environment

This is a teaching hospital facility with an active Labor & Delivery unit delivering between 200 and 300 births per month. The unit supports high risk antepartum patients and provides comprehensive obstetrical services including C-section procedures. The facility is equipped to handle complex maternal cases and emphasizes collaborative, interdisciplinary patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
