Job Details:
* 8-hour day shifts
* Weekend coverage required with variable weekend shifts, likely once per month
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius if qualifications are met
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Previous travel assignment required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Must be able to both scrub and circulate
* Previous charge experience required
* Charting experience required using Epic
* California RN license required
* BSN required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS
* Preferred certifications: CNOR
* Perform and assist with Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) and craniotomy procedures
* Assist with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), plastic surgery, dental surgery, and combined neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
* Handle open and endoscopic surgical cases including free flap reconstructive procedures
* Experience with liver transplant, kidney transplant, neuro, spine, and vascular procedures preferred
* Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
* 28-room operating suite serving adult and geriatric patient populations
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* 1:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
* 40 orientation hours required
* Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract; no requests within first two weeks of start
