Job Details:

* Work 4x10-hour day shifts per week
* Weekend requirement varies based on staffing needs, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
* On-call required - weekday call hours are 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM per call rotation with staff; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* Floating may be required within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 4+ years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Surgical scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required procedural skills include but are not limited to: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, amputations, anterior cervical fusion, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, bunionectomy, carpal tunnel release, cataract extraction/implant, cholecystectomy, colon resection, cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, dilation & curettage, general OR, hernia repair, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, lumbar fusion, mastectomy, open/closed reduction of fractures, ortho/spine, thyroidectomy, total joint replacement, and transurethral resection of the prostate
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
