RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 19:00 to 07:30
* 36 to 48 hours per week
* Must have EPIC experience
* Must be able to take over a recovery in Labor and Delivery and catch a baby in a cesarean section
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes and identify outcomes for patients
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP (AHA or ARC)
* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Acute care facility experience preferred
