Open Position: RN - PCU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2485.76

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* 13-week travel assignment
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day and night shifts available with 5 RNs per shift
* Every other weekend required, or equivalent based on staffing needs
* Unit staffed with 5 RNs and 2 LNAs, flexing with volume
* Work on a 20-bed Progressive Care Unit
* Float to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and Emergency Department for ED holds as needed
* Utilize GE cardiac monitoring equipment and Hospira IV pumps
* Document using Expanse EMR system
* Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience required
* Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting required
* Pre/post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience preferred
* Prior HCA experience preferred
* Must have active compact license at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIAH
* No required scrub color; professional attire expected
* Ideal candidate is self-directed, confident, positive under difficult circumstances, and a strong communicator and team player

Facility:

This facility is a progressive care unit operating within a well-established medical center environment. The unit features 20 beds and provides care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and critical drip management, with access to modern equipment and an electronic medical records system. The unit maintains a collaborative staffing model that flexes with patient volume and offers exposure to a variety of care settings through floating opportunities.
