Opportunity:

TRAVEL RN PCU

Job Details:

* 13-week travel assignment
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* Day and night shifts available with 5 RNs per shift
* Every other weekend requirement or equivalent based on staffing needs
* No on-call responsibilities specified
* 20-bed Progressive Care Unit
* Float areas include Med Surg, ICU (for border patients), and Emergency Department (for ED holds)
* Must have strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience
* 2 years of PCU experience in a hospital setting required
* Pre/post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience preferred
* Prior HCA experience preferred
* Works with GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps
* EMR system: Expanse
* Professional dress code with no required scrub color
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIAH
* Must have active compact license at time of submission
* Must have NH RN license at time of submission
* Ideal candidate is self-directed, confident, positive under difficult circumstances, with strong communication skills and a team-player mentality

This progressive care unit is a 20-bed facility staffed by a dedicated team of RNs and Licensed Nursing Assistants who flex with patient volume. The unit provides comprehensive cardiac monitoring and critical care services, with access to specialty support for border patients requiring ICU-level care and ED hold patients. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to support high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
