Open Position: RN - OR Outpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2213.88

Opportunity:

RN - Same Day Surgery

Job Details:

* Work 5 days per week on evening shifts from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
* Day shift with variable start times available; no night shift
* Patient ratio of up to 4 to 1
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* No floating to other units
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Work in an 18-bed Same Day Surgery unit with a staff of 30
* Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
* Operate standard hospital equipment
* Must have prior experience working in a Same Day Surgery department
* Must be familiar with starting IVs, obtaining vitals, shaving, obtaining consent, conducting brief health histories, and administering medications to prepare patients for surgery
* Must be able to provide post-surgical discharge instructions to patients
* Experience in pre-operative and post-operative care preferred
* IV start skills preferred
* Perform and assist with all surgical types
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RN license

This facility is a full-service hospital offering comprehensive surgical services through its Same Day Surgery department located on the second floor of the main tower. The unit supports a wide range of surgical procedures and is equipped with modern medical technology including EPIC electronic medical records. The department maintains a collaborative team environment with an experienced staff dedicated to providing high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.
