Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* 36 hours can be offered per week
* Call requirement: Every 5 weeks will cover call Monday through Thursday
* No float requirement
* Up to 2 weeks of orientation on Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Scrubs not provided - Royal Blue required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Community hospital experience required
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required work setting skills: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bedside/Portable Procedures, Emergency Department, ICU, and Operating Room
* Required abdominal/GI skills: Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), and Abdomen upright
* Required chest and thorax skills: Chest Routine
* Required enema studies skills: Barium enema (air contrast) and Barium enema (single contrast)
* Required fluoroscopy studies skills: Barium Swallow/Esophagus, Contrast Enema, and Upper GI series
* Required head skills: Orbits and Skull
* Required lower extremity skills: Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, and Tibia-fibula
* Required mobile/surgical skills: C-Arm procedure, Portable abdomen, and Portable chest
* Required professional knowledge: Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
* Required spine and pelvis skills: Cervical Spine, Lumbar Spine, and Thoracic Spine
* Required upper extremity skills: Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, and Wrist
* Required additional equipment skills: GE OEC C-Arm and CareStream Portable
* Special equipment used: PACS, EPIC, Samsung XR, Siemens XR/FL, Carestream portables, and Schimadzu XR
* Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR
* Required certifications: ARRT R and BLS
* Preferred work setting skills: PICU

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a full-service Radiology department offering a comprehensive range of diagnostic and specialized imaging services, with the exception of interventional radiology. The department performs 50 to 70 procedures per day Monday through Friday and 30 to 50 procedures per day on weekends. Services include diagnostic X-ray for both outpatient and inpatient settings, fluoroscopy procedures such as PICC line placements, lumbar punctures, modified barium swallows, and barium enemas, as well as operating room and emergency department exams. The 46-bed hospital maintains an average nightly census of 17 patients and sees approximately 50 visits per day.
