TRAVEL EXP- MS/Tele RN - Req 10760
Job Details:
* 12-hour shifts available on a variable schedule
* Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* No block schedules required
* No on-call required; however, call may be required due to low census
* Patient ratio of 1:5 with day, night, and weekend ratios of 1:6
* Float required to other acute care departments within the hospital, including up to 6 other acute care units
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Seasoned traveler required with at least one prior travel contract
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: Blood product administration, central line care/management, feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, PCA, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, telemetry on-unit monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
* Dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN): solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping; print tops are not acceptable
* Free parking available in any unrestricted surface parking lots designated for Employee/Visitor Parking
* Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit consists of 30 beds with a daily census of 27
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
