Opportunity:

RN - PCU/Med Surg/Tele

Job Details:

* Mixed unit position covering PCU, Med Surg/Telemetry, and Med Surg
* Float within service line and scope of practice as needed
* Every other weekend required
* Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Telemetry experience required
* Epic charting experience required
* Medication system: Pyxis
* Navy scrubs required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* No local travelers within 50-mile radius
* Must have Michigan license in hand
* Required skills include: central line care/management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, and telemetry
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

This healthcare facility operates a mixed acute care environment encompassing Progressive Care, Medical Surgical Telemetry, and Medical Surgical units. The facility provides comprehensive patient care services across multiple specialties and supports travelers with the expectation of flexibility to float within their service line and scope of practice. The organization maintains high standards for clinical competency and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system.
