Opportunity:

Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech) - 12 hr NOCS (24-36 GSA)

Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
* Guaranteed 24-36 hours per week
* No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
* Primary location is a 2-bed sleep unit with potential to float to an 8-bed unit approximately 64 miles away for those seeking 36 guaranteed hours per week
* At 24 hours per week, all shifts are at the primary location; at 36 hours per week, 2 nights at primary location and 1 night at secondary location
* Conduct sleep studies on patients ages 6 and up
* Primary cases include PSG, Split, PAP/Oxygen titration, Full head EEG, Extra limb leads, and EtCo2/TcCo2
* Patient ratio up to 1:2
* Prepare, calibrate, and monitor equipment; score studies while conducting them
* Work with Natus equipment; Epic charting experience preferred
* Work independently and with trainees, communicating effectively throughout
* Minimum 1 year of polysomnographic technologist experience required; previous travel experience strongly preferred
* Must be a graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic accredited program or have completed one of the other 3 pathways set by the AASM
* Required certifications: RPSGT and AHA BLS
* Scrub color: Black
