Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Tuesday starts required
* Work in a Labor & Delivery unit on the 2nd floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 10 LDRs and 2 OBEDs with 24 bedside RNs on staff
* Day shift core staffing: 3 RNs, 1 Scrub tech, and 1 Unit Secretary
* Patient ratios: 2:1, high risk 1:1 or 2:1 if stable
* 4 weekend shifts per month required
* Float to postpartum and medical floor (only as a tech) as needed
* EMR systems used: CPN (Centricity) and Meditech
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* Required skills: Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, NRP, BLS, and OR Circulator
* Preferred skills: Bilingual and scrub tech skills
* C-EFM preferred but not required
* Typical procedures include cesarean sections, BTLs, and salpingectomies
* Must have an open personality and be adaptable to unit needs

This facility features a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit equipped to handle a full range of obstetric care, from routine deliveries to high-risk cases. The unit supports surgical procedures including cesarean sections and other gynecological procedures, with a collaborative team environment that includes RNs, scrub techs, and unit secretaries. The facility utilizes advanced electronic medical record systems to ensure comprehensive and efficient patient care.
