Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts Tuesday through Saturday
* Outpatient setting accommodates up to 9 patients per day, inpatient setting accommodates up to 13 patients per day, and rehab caseload varies
* Shifts typically begin at varying start times depending on facility needs; schedules may include Wednesday through Sunday or Thursday through Monday rotations
* Weekend requirement varies and will be specified per requisition
* Holidays are not required
* Dress code requires a maroon polo shirt, dark colored pants, and closed-toed shoes; lab coat is optional
* Charting system is Cerner Powerchart; Cerner training will be provided during orientation if needed
* 1.5 days of department-specific orientation provided
* May be required to float to other areas in addition to assigned area
* Rehab aides/OTA/PTAL assistance available, typically 2 aides to assist in rehab
* Inpatient patients include orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, cardiac, and med-surg cases
* Speech candidates must have experience with bedside swallow studies; video swallowing study experience is preferred
* Outpatient PT/OT focuses on orthopedic and neurological cases; outpatient Speech focuses on trauma and neurological cases
* Rehab patients include neurological, spinal cord injury, and trauma cases
* Minimum one year of experience required; travel experience preferred; trauma experience preferred
* CCC-SLP certification required for Speech; PT must be licensed in the state; OT must have passed the NBCOT exam
* BLS Certification required
* Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

This Level 2 Trauma facility offers a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation setting with a multidisciplinary therapy program encompassing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services. The facility supports both inpatient and outpatient care settings, along with a dedicated rehabilitation unit, and benefits from 24/7 pharmacy support. Therapy staff work collaboratively alongside rehab aides to deliver high-quality patient care across a range of diagnoses and treatment areas.
