Open Position: Sleep Tech - Polysomnographer

Opportunity:

Sleep Technologist

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour overnight shifts, 3 nights per week with weekends in rotation with staff
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Wear gray scrubs
* Perform sleep studies and administer treatments for patients with sleep disorders including CPAP, oxygen, and Bilevel therapy
* Operate Natus Xltek sleep testing equipment, Resmed PAP machines, and EPIC One Chart EMR
* Maintain a 1 technologist to 2 patients ratio in the Sleep Lab (4 sleep beds total)
* Minimum of two years of related work experience in the Sleep Disorders field preferred
* Orientation includes working with day sleep technologists to learn One Chart EPIC and sleep and EEG software, hospital workflows, policies and procedures, and testing procedures
* Required certifications: BLS Certification and Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT Certificate
* North Dakota Respiratory Care License and Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) required
* Charting system: EPIC
* BSN not required
* Trauma Level 2, Acute Care Setting
* This location does not accept local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a dedicated Sleep Center equipped with modern sleep testing technology and diagnostic tools. The facility maintains a Level 2 trauma designation and provides comprehensive sleep disorder services within a structured clinical environment. The Sleep Lab features four sleep beds and follows established protocols to ensure quality patient care throughout overnight studies and treatment administration.
