Job Details:

* 12-hour block scheduling with day shifts available
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holidays required if they fall within your block schedule while on contract
* 55-bed facility with a post-acute care setting
* Med aide support provided from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM; 1 nurse from 10:00 AM to 6:00 AM
* Overnight patient ratio approximately 1:45; Day patient ratio approximately 1:23
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Skilled charting and other documentation primarily completed on day shift
* Will receive training, facility tour, and competency evaluation with opportunity to shadow 1-2 shifts during orientation
* Work with elder population including patients with dementia
* Facility runs a behavioral health program including patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia
* No on-call or call-back available
* Required certifications: BLS Certification
* BSN not required
* 2-week cancellation notice required

Facility:

This post-acute care facility operates a 55-bed unit and provides specialized care for an elder population, including those with dementia and behavioral health conditions. The facility runs a dedicated behavioral health program and utilizes Point Click Care (PCC) as its electronic medical records system. Staff work collaboratively with med aides and nursing teams to deliver comprehensive care across all shifts.
