Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2803.80

Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per clinician
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required with at least 1 year in Cath Lab
* Must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* First-time travelers not accepted - prior experience required
* Weekend requirement is call only
* Call requirements: 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM second call, and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks starting Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM; first and second call rotate every 12 hours during weekend call; 2-hour callback minimum
* May float within scope to meet facility needs but will more than likely remain in the Cath Lab
* Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Active WV or Compact license required to start; pending license accepted for submission
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available for travelers
* Responsibilities include circulating in the lab, moderate sedation, patient assessment, medication administration, and pre and post-op care
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Minimum 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, as well as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH).
